At the recent November meeting of the Eastsound Water Board the Eastsound Water Financial Assistance Program was extended till the end of the year.
The program was developed back in March and has provided dozens of members financial relief for their water service fees. Eastsound Water has partnered with the Orcas Community Resource Center to administer the program.

The Holidays can add financial stress to many of us. Eastsound Water would like those who are struggling to manage their water service bills to contact either the Resource Center for financial assistance or the Eastsound Water office to arrange a payment plan. We are happy to help, and would appreciate communication from those who have past due balances.
In addition to the Financial Assistance Program, Eastsound Water has waived over 800 late fees so far this year, and postponed delinquency-related service shut off actions since March.
