Standing on Level Ground
The last time we shared, the ground at the Clark Well looked like Swiss cheese. Today, those holes have been covered and that underground infrastructure has been bolted together and tested per our HDR engineers specifications. Those tests have been successfully approved by our Engineers and we’re moving on to the next phase.

The 40-foot long contact chamber we discussed about a few issues back was assembled and hoisted into place to the east of the roadway. It is now bedded and rests safely in its place. We connected the pipes from under the building to the contact chamber, and on to the well.

Additional lines were installed for process and distribution water in addition to power and communication conduits to the wellhead.
The site is looking more organized at this point. Two smaller sized ditches remain as we prepare for connecting the building pipework to a 3,200+ gallon backwash vault.

In addition to the buttoning up the pipework and electrical conduit, the surrounding earth has been graded-up to its target level before we begin to restore the site with native plants and shrubbery to revive the lush natural landscape of the area.

Our friends at Island Excavating have done a fantastic job of installing this infrastructure and it is important to recognize them for that. Their work will serve our community for decades to come at the Clark Well.

Our next few items include digging in our big vaults and to build out the interior of the building, then we will start wiring the electrical components that will power and run our processing systems.
